We stayed 3 nights in Henk and Nazma’s vegan B&B-plus. We had a spacious, comfortable room with a super clean bathroom (shower, toilet, sink). Breakfast with tasty warm rolls, many types of toppings, gravy and delicious coffee, freshly brewed by Henk personally. An extensive vegan English breakfast is also possible, but please order in advance. Enjoyed the three-course dinner that can be booked twice. Delicious! The highlight was the vegan tiramisu. Sooo delicious! We also enjoyed the conversations with Henk and Nazma and were able to exchange many valuable ideas. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing time at Vegotel! Very relaxing atmosphere and immediately felt at home with such friendly and dedicated hosts, as well as their furry and feathered companions. We really enjoyed the calming surroundings, but also had a great time visiting Ameland and taking a look at the stars, which are beautifully visible from the b&b at night.
Would absolutely recommend a stay, with a special note for Nazma’s delicious cooking, very much obviously made and served with love! We will definitely come back sometime. Thank you for this unforgettable experience.
Compliments to the Chef Nazma, we ate everything that she served, we at least gained 2 kg.

We enjoyed our vegan breakfast, the paté was unforgettable.
It was great to stay at a fully vegan and ecological hotel and you don’t have to surrender any comfort.
We stayed here for a weekend and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We were pampered every evening and morning. A vegan pasta carbonara with salad, a curry, and a delicious Dutch breakfast. We also absolutely loved the desserts. We had a chocolate cake and a tiramisu that were truly amazing! And everything, of course, is completely vegan. We would definitely recommend this hotel. It’s also in a quiet area, close to the ferry that departs for Ameland. Truly fantastic!
An excellent location to visit Friesland and Ameland from. The farmhouse is spacious and the room is very cozy. I recommend renting the ebikes for Ameland as the range is just enough to explore every corner of Ameland. It’s a pleasure talking with Henk about veganism, environment and any other topic. Nazma’s cooking is spot on and we enjoyed every meal and dish. The chickens and neighborhood cat on the farm were a delight. From the beginning of our holiday to the very end, we didn’t have to worry about anything being non-vegan.

What a wonderful concept you guys developed, everything is ecological, vegan and Fairtrade.
Amazing place, very attractive locations, beautiful views and the most important, very friendly and opened owners, persons with a passion and mission how to reduce a negative influence for the environment.
Some friends are better than relatives is what we experienced with the owners, who guaranteed us a relaxing and perfect vegan + gluten free holiday at their cosy place (very clean rooms, delicious food, quiet place to rest) in Friesland. We had skilled support in exploring the area with its interesting destinations and values. It was not easy to part from there for now.
The area is beautiful, we had a picnic on the Seadyke and saw the sunset, a really breathtaking view.
The hotel is situated at the far north of the country. We stayed two nights and toured around the area. Perfect to find some quiet. We were treated very warmly by the owner and enjoyed the fully vegan meals! They perfected the art of making classic dishes with meat and dairy substitutes. We had very interesting discussions and learned a lot!
We had such an amazing stay at Vegotel Blije. Henk and Nazma are the kindest hosts, passionate vegan and with lots of good tips about the area. It was so nice coming back to Vegotel and having the most delicious three-course meal waiting for us. It was so good I almost wish I could live there😉

The breakfast was really delicious and I recommend everyone to try the English Breakfast. We especially liked the way the owners dealt with the topic of our environment. We felt very comfortable.
